Liquidtight Flexible Steel Conduit inhibits bacterial growth in food production areas


AFC Cable Systems has launched Liquid-Tuff Liquidtight Flexible Conduit, with polyvinyl chloride (PVC) jacket to inhibit bacteria growth and withstand cleaning and sterilization using bleach.

Designed to meet NSF 169 commercial food equipment standards for splash zones in food production areas, the cable’s moisture, oil, and jacket targets meat packing, food processing and poultry packing applications.

The product is available in steel and non-metallic versions, and can be used as a raceway for NSF169 special purpose food equipment and devices.

The Liquidtight Flexible Steel Conduit is covered by a jacket with a proprietary PVC formulation that inhibits bacterial growth, ensuring sterilized conditions and eliminating contamination in food production.
