\'Landfein Naturjoghurt cremig gerührt 3,5 % Fett\' 4x150g dates up to and including 19.6.2017 distributed through branches of Norma Lebensmittelfilialbetrieb Stiftung & Co. KG are involved.

\'Joghurt 3,5%, mild, gerührt 4x150 g Das Beste vom Lande\' distribution through branches of Netto ApS & Co.KG with shelf life up to 16.6.2017 are included.

\'TiP Joghurt mild 3,5% Fett (4x150g)\' sold through branches of SB-Waenhaus GmbH with dates 26.5.2017; 1.6.2017; 3.6.2017; 11.6.2017; and 16.6.2017 are also part of the recall.

Consumers who purchased affected dates of the product can receive a refund of the purchase price without presenting the receipt.

Germany: Deutsche Milchkontor (DMK) has recalled yoghurts as a plastic part may come loose and fall into the product when cups are opened.

Netherlands: A mix-up between carbonara and arrabiata pasta sauce has prompted a recall due to undeclared allergens.

Conveni warned consumers with a milk allergy or lactose intolerance to not use "Fresh Pasta Carbonara" with a shelf-life of 9-6-17 of the Chef Select brand. The product was sold in Lidl.

When packing the carbonara pasta sauce was put into the packaging of the arrabiata sauce.

The beans were made by Franzese S.p.A of Italy and imported by Sunrise Food AS.

Affected 400g product has item number 13048, lot number V1 P340 and date 5.12.2019.

A total of 3,648 boxes were distributed in Norway and it is sold in groceries and fruit/veg stores in the country.

Switzerland: Swiss authorities have issued a warning about frozen catfish from Vietnam sold in several small shops in French-speaking and German-speaking parts of the country.

OSAV said the fish contains residues of an unauthorized veterinary medicinal product (Malachite green at 29 µg/kg - ppb) and a health hazard cannot be ruled out.

SM STAR poisson-chat entier surgelé, 1kg with lot VN 737 IV 044 and date 28-3-18 is affected.

Malachite Green is a veterinary drug prohibited from being given to fish. Studies have shown it has carcinogenic properties.

New Zealand: European Foods is recalling Ghiotti brand mozzarella cheeses due to incorrect date marking.

Certain batches and dates of Ghiotti brand Mozzarella Fior di Latte (125g), Mozzarella Fior di Latte (200g), Mozzarella Buffalo (125g and 200g) and Mozzarella Cherry (200g) are involved. 

Products are sold in plastic tubs in supermarkets throughout the North Island.

Affected products are imported from Italy but the recall is due to a problem associated with the date mark applied when they were in New Zealand.

Laboratory analysis confirmed the presence of azo-dyes ponceau 4R, sunset yellow (E 110) and quinoline yellow (E 104).

The product did not contain a warning that the dyes were present as required by legislation.

US: Armour Eckrich Meats is recalling almost 91,000 pounds of ready-to-eat sausage products that may be contaminated with pieces of metal.

The food service fully-cooked pork, turkey and beef breakfast sausages were produced and packed from April 26-28 and shipped to distribution centers in Arkansas, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Texas, said the US Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (USDA-FSIS).

A total of 8,769 cases of 16.6 oz. vacuumed packages with “Eckrich Smok-y Cheddar Breakfast Sausage, Naturally Hardwood Smoked” on the label, case code/UPC number “27815 17984,” and Use By “08/17/17 are affected.

The problem was discovered on May 15 when Armour Eckrich Meats was notified by another FSIS-regulated establishment that pieces of metal were embedded in a fully cooked sausage product. There have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions.
